How many guests can we accommodate for events?
Circle Bar B Guest Ranch can accommodate up to 150 weddings guests for your wedding celebration. The overnight accommodations include 17 different Guest Rooms and Cabins that can sleep up to 65 people maximum. What is the curfew time for events?
The curfew time is 12:00 AM for amplified music.
Does the ranch require a Wedding Planner?
Yes, the ranch requires that every couple has a professional wedding planner for your event. Your Wedding Planner is responsible for managing outside vendors and rentals, providing a detailed timeline, set up of all personal belongings (place cards, guest book, favors etc.) and managing set up of rental items and decor provided by outside vendors (rentals, linens, florals, glassware etc.). Please note that all vendors must be approved by the ranch and provide a valid Certificate of Insurance.
What activities are available?
The ideal location and natural beauty of the ranch provides endless opportunities for you and your guests to have fun. There are scenic horseback rides available on the property that lead you through the picturesque canyons and creeks. The ranch also has a pool and hot tub, a full bar, hiking trails, horseshoe pit, and a game room fully equipped with ping pong, pool table, and foosball. Additionally, the ranch is located in close proximity to downtown Santa Barbara, Refugio State Beach, golfing, and the wineries and tasting rooms of San Ynez and Los Olivos. Santa Barbara is about 20 minutes south of the Circle Bar B guest ranch and offers endless activities and attractions to make your wedding weekend unforgettable including wine tasting, museums, shopping, kayaking, biking, hiking, polo, golfing, surfing, whale watching tours, fishing, the Santa Barbara Mission, world-class day spas, beaches, and parks.
Will other guests be staying at the ranch during our wedding?
No! The ranch facilities will be reserved exclusively for the use of you and your wedding guests. This means the Main Lodge, Bar, Library, Billiards Room, Dining Room, Pool & Hot Tub, and Overnight Accommodations will be reserved solely for the use and enjoyment of you and your guests. Included in the venue cost is your use of several locations for the ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner. The stables will still be open to the general public for horseback riding.
Are outside caterers permitted?
The Circle Bar B will provides all Catering for Dinners and Breakfasts for your Wedding weekend. Choose from our current catering menus, or work with our culinary team to create a customized menu that reflects your personal tastes and preferences. We do permit select approved outside catering vendors to provide specialty items and wedding cakes. All outside caterers and vendors must be approved by the ranch and provide a valid Certificate of Insurance.
What type of food will be served?
Breakfast and Dinner are provided by the in-house catering team at the ranch and feature fresh California-inspired ranch cuisine. We are eager to customize our menus to fit your tastes and preferences, and are able to accommodate any dietary restrictions.
Does the ranch allow dogs or pets?
No. To ensure the comfort and safety of all of our guests, we do not permit dogs or other pets on the property. Service Dogs are permitted.

Circle Bar B Guest Ranch is located on the scenic Central Coast of California approximately 2 hours north of Los Angeles. Only 20 minutes away from Santa Barbara and 20 minutes from Solvang, guests at the Circle Bar B can enjoy wine tasting, world class shopping, golf, or a walk on the beach. The nearest airports are located in Santa Barbara Airport or Los Angeles Airport.
